C.E.M. LAB is a full-service CCRL, AMRL, and DSA certified materials testing, inspection and engineering laboratory (LEA# 190) founded and incorporated in Tustin, California in 1994. Our staff consists of inter-disciplinary ICC/DSA licensed inspectors, licensed engineers, ACI certified field technicians, ACI certified laboratory technicians, and support staff.
Our staff of geotechnical engineers and geologists is experienced in areas of land development and forensic geotechnical investigation, as well as providing expert witness services and mitigating hazardous geotechnical conditions.
Our certified technicians and inspectors are all certified in multiple fields, which enable them to offer cost effective service on site. Material Testing and Inspection services are available for Masonry (Bricks and Blocks), Core Drilling, Welding, Steel Structure, Fire Proofing, Concrete (Reinforced, Prestress, Post Tension), Coefficient of Friction Tests, Slab on Grade Moisture Vapor Emission Rate Testing, Locating Reinforement Bars (Depth, Cover, and Size), Shotcrete, Epoxy, Tensile Tests of Post Installed Anchors, Bolting, Ground Rod Tests, Geotechnical Testing & Observation, Measuring & Mitigating Methane and Hazardous Gas Conditions.
Our on-going Quality Control Program and participation in CCRL & AMRL nationwide proficiency programs guarantee accurate test results for our clients. We are certified with the City of Los Angeles, City of San Diego,ICC, DSA (California Department of State Architect), AMRL, CCRL (Division of ASTM), and all local municipalities in Southern California.
